Why hire from Empire Events?

We pride ourselves in delivering a higher class of hire products with high-class service. We will work with you to deliver the perfect event. 

How far in advance do I need to book?

We recommend you book as soon as your dates have been confirmed. The weekends, especially in Summer are our busiest time.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Due to the nature of our business, we will require a 25% deposit to secure your date. This deposit secures us against cancellations within 60 days which may not provide us an opportunity to re-hire items.

Is there a hire agreement?

Yes. Upon confirmation you will be provided with our terms and conditions and ask to sign a formal agreement.

Breakages. What’s considered as damage?

Any smashed or chipped glass or crockery. Any permanent markings, such as candle wax, burns, marker pens on table and chair covers. Minor food and drink stains that are cleanable are acceptable. We only charge replacement cost for any damaged items.

Do you deliver or do we pick up?

Other than a very small hireage, we deliver and pick-up all items. If there are any delivery charges they will be part of the quote.

I’m looking for something that you don’t have on your website, can you help?

We are always looking to add different items to our stock. We are also well linked with providers of the weird and wonderful, so let us know and we’ll try our best to help. 

Can I view the items before hiring?

We are more than happy to meet with you and bring examples of stock items with us.  Unfortunately it isn’t practical to view marquees. We try to provide as many photo’s as possible on our website and Facebook gallery.

Do items need to be cleaned before returning?

We ask that all Cutlery, Glassware and Crockery are thoroughly rinsed before pick-up. All items are cleaned and sanitised before hireage.
